The American West has been an inspiration for artists since Lewis and Clark embarked on their Corps of Discovery journey in 1803.  Painters, photographers, sculptors, authors and cinematographers are beguiled by its immensity and beauty.  These images were photographed on my travels through Arizona, California and Oregon.
